Glow graffiti

Published by zielak under Toys & Fun Gadgets Edit This

graffiti.jpg

Did you ever painted using light? No! Me neither, but now we have the opportunity to do so, thanks to Glow Graffiti.

What is the secret of this arrangement? The use of UV light. Special material, which will be painted, absorbs light and then release them making really interesting effect. Developed work will be visible only for 30 seconds, so this is a good solution for children who like to decorate the walls. The problem might be only to persuade them to draw on the material instead of walls. Everything is of course completely safe for small kids.

The set contains a can of “paint”, letters, templates and material to paint be painted. It is available for purchase in the Firebox in the price of £ 35.

Solar powered laptop bag

Published by zielak under PC Gadgets Edit This

voltaic laptop bag

Solar powered laptop bag from Voltaic has already been presented at CES 2008, and now it’s ready for sale. The idea behind this gadget is very interesting - it is equipped with solar panels, which can charge your laptop, which itself sits inside and is connected to it. But this is not as great as it looks.

Laptop Mag took a test of this gadget and unfortunately it did not do too well. First of all, the device does not work with all laptops, so before the purchase you should check if it will work with your laptop. Secondly, the bag is quite heavy and carrying it with you will not be the most comfortable situation.

In additon, it constantly falls over. You can not place it as in the attached photo, because in a while it will fall. And the worst part is its price $499!

Small wireless OLED keyboard

Published by zielak under PC Gadgets Edit This

Brando OLED keyboard

In the field of keyboards invented almost anything. There were already keyboards with OLED buttons, heated keyboards or whole made from leather. This time, the company Brando presented a tiny wireless keyboard on which writing at night should not be a problem, because it has fashionable blue backlight.

It has 56 buttons and weighs only 0.30 lb. Its dimensions do not exceed 6.75″ x 3.15″ x 5/8″. The keyboard is small, shapely and handy, and lack of cables further extends its functionality. It can be used at a distance of over 30 feet from the receiver and its powered by two AAA batteries.

You have to admit that thia gadget looks quite interesting. The keyboard is available now from Brando online store at a price of $ 47.

iRiver Mickey MP3 player

iriver-mickey.jpg

Last year, the company iRiver together with Disney has created an original mp3 player that looks like Mickey Mouse head. The player has been created for the Disneyland in Hong Kong, and now they created new version with two new colors, an additional gigabyte of memory and LED lights, which helps Mickey express his emotions.

The player is fully functional gadget. Mickey’s ears are in fact used to control the volume and files stored in memory. Adjusting volume is done very intuitively by turning the ears. New elements in the iRiver Mickey MP3 is a set of LED’s which create 20 different expressions on the Mickey’s face, which are assigned to different functions.

The gadget has 2GB internal memory and can play files in MP3, WMA and ASF formats. Communicating with a computer and battery charging is done via the USB port. A battery is sufficient for listening music for 9 hours. I think that this is quite an interesting player for the youngest, even better than the recently presented Creative Zen Moo. iRiver Mickey MP3 will be available from mid-December in the price of 8,980 yens, which is around $ 100

moviestation.jpg

TrekStor company is known as a producer of external hard drives which are ideal for storage of high resolution materials. It ss no different in the case of the new handheld version MovieStation. This device, however is not only the hard drive. It is, as its name suggests, the portable movie station.

Thanks to this toy from TrekStor you can watch without a problems materials in MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 formats including DivX and XviD. MovieStation can be also connected to a TV.  Ana as you can see in the picture there is also remote control included.
